The Onion Barn property was purchased by Dennis Layton in 1973 as part of the Solomon farm.
The barn had been used to store onions by a previous owner, and so the barn has been referred to by us and many others as “the Onion Barn” since before the early 70s.
When deciding what to call the barn after it was reinforced to accomodate many events and weddings to come, we were stuck. No new name seemed to fit right, and thus we decided we’d keep the OG name that Denny and so many others knew the barn as.
We are honored to share our family barn and memories with so many of you, and we are excited to make the Onion Barn just as special for you as it is for us!
